When the heat hits or your energy dips, there’s nothing like an ice-cold popsicle that boosts your health.

These electrolyte popsicles pack vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and key electrolytes that restore your body’s cells.

According to studies, electrolytes “regulate chemical reactions, maintain the balance between fluids inside and outside your cells, and more.”

They’re also fast, easy, and highly versatile!

Assorted electrolyte popsicles with ice and fresh fruit.

Whether you’re recovering from a workout, sun-soaked afternoon, sauna session, or just want to boost your body’s mineral balance without artificial dyes or sugars, these popsicles hit the spot.

The coconut water has potassium, magnesium, and glucose to help move electrolytes into cells. The citrus and other fruits add natural sugars for faster absorption and antioxidant support.

The Celtic or Himalayan salt helps retain fluids and replenishes sodium lost in sweat. Other trace minerals in electrolyte packs boost nerve function, recovery, and adrenal health.

When it comes to making healthy, eco-conscious popsicles at home, choosing the right mold makes a big difference.

I strongly suggest ditching plastic altogether and opting instead for non-toxic silicone molds (get here), or other chemical-free trays that are flexible, reusable, and free from harmful pollutants.

Make sure and taste test your popsicle mix before you mold. That way you can make adjustments while adding whole fruits or other ingredients.

If you don’t have silicone molds on hand, another great option is to use biodegradable paper cups.

Just pour in your mixture, freeze them until they’re partially set, then insert popsicle sticks or even spoons as handles.

It’s simple, low-waste, and perfect for making popsicles in bulk for kids, parties, or your own daily snacks.
