I first started rocking this delicious mango protein smoothie back in the day when I was on the college swim team. After practice I was super famished and needed something pretty solid to pull me through.
I’d stack the blender with plant milk, fresh organic mango, and superfood protein powder I picked up at my local Trader Joes. Topped with a little banana, some vegan yogurt, a pinch of stevia, and it was good.
Later I became what you’d call a smoothie connoisseur after opening an organic smoothie bar. I named it ‘Mighty Mango’ and popped it on the menu with scores of other drinks.
As always, we rocked plant-based proteins and superfoods in large glass jars. Folks gobbled them up because they really are next level.
This recipe is organic, vegan, and gluten-free.
Vegan Mango Smoothie Recipe
Recent studies show that mangoes are an “antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer” fruit. They’re packed with phytochemicals, polyphenols, and boatloads of micronutrients.
They’re also an important source of potassium and fiber, with roughly five grams of dietary fiber a fruit.
Mango Protein Smoothie Ingredients
- Filtered ice.
- Plant milk.
- Vegan yogurt.
- Frozen mangoes.
- Frozen banana.
- Stevia.
- Pink salt.
- Protein powder.

Mangos are also packed with mangiferin, a polyphenol powerhouse. One study calls it a “miracle bioactive.”
They’re also an excellent source of vitamins A, C, K, magnesium, and beta-carotene.

Vegan Mango Protein Smoothie
Ingredients
- 11/4 cups filtered water ice.
- 1/1/3 cups plant milk
- 1/3 cup vegan yogurt.
- 11/2 cups organic frozen mangos.
- 1/2 cup organic frozen banana.
- 1/1/2 tsp stevia.
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- 1/4 teaspoon pink salt.
- 2 scoops protein powder.
Instructions
- Add the ingredients in the following order:
- Ice.
- Plant milk.
- Yogurt.
- Frozen fruit.
- Extract.
- Stevia and salt.
- Protein powder.
- Blend until smooth or to desired consistency.
