Vegan Breakfast Ideas—Smoothies

Homemade smoothies are a breakfast go-to.

Delicious vegan smoothies are one of the fastest, easiest, and most delectable ways to rock a healthy breakfast. And especially with organic protein powders and superfoods onboard.

They’re not only filling, they’re incredibly versatile, too, as you probably know. One of my all-time favorites year-round.

Here are things I typically add (recipe below):

Whole grain buckwheat porridge with berries is a powerhouse.

It should come as little surprise that a rich delicious porridge recipe is on this list, and especially since it’s one of the best vegan breakfast ideas ever.

It not only rocks amaranth, oats, chia, flax, and Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat, it’s a high-protein, fiber-rich, nutrient-dense meal.

Here’s a list of gluten-free grains:

You can slow cook porridge overnight, by the way.

Organic vegan yogurt is not only an easy breakfast plan, it’s highly stackable. It rocks nuts and berries, coulis, seeds, superfoods, trail mix, and more.

And if you haven’t tried it with protein powders yet, I’m definitely a fan. I pack Forager Cashewmilk and So Delicious with huge scoops of nootropics.

Equipment

Instructions

  • Mix in fruits and nuts.
  • Stir in stevia.
  • Stack it.

Along with pancakes, I’m a huge fan of delicious Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat (HTB) waffles. They’re a go-to breakfast idea and gut-healthy treat.

That’s because HTB, according to Dr. Jeffrey Bland, is “the most immuneoactive, nutrient-dense plant yet discovered.”

You can learn more about it here. Get the waffles recipe here.

7. Vegan Buckwheat Blinis

Buckwheat blinis can be savory or sweet.

Blinis are a fun diversion from pancakes, waffles, and crepes, and even moonlight as a bread. They’re akin to crepes, but a smaller, thicker, yeast-based round.

They’re also savory or sweet and rock tons of additions.
